Brian J. Neary Receives Certification as a Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer for both the New Jersey Supreme Court and the National Board of Trial Advocacy

Brian J. Neary has been re-certified as a criminal trial advocate with both the New Jersey Supreme Court and the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  Both certifications mark over 20 years in which Brian J. Neary has been so designated in this specialty.

A certified criminal trial attorney is a designation granted by the New Jersey Supreme Court to attorneys who are able to demonstrate sufficient levels of experience, education, knowledge, and skill in criminal trial practice.  The Supreme Court, through its Board on Attorney Certification, designates only those lawyers who approved by the Court.

Brian J. Neary was first certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court in 1982 in the first group ever so designated.  Brian has been recertified in 1989 and 1996 (each period of certification is 7 years).  Such certification evidences a continuing commitment to criminal trial advocacy.

In addition to State trial certification, Brian J. Neary holds board certification granted by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  Established in 1977, NBTA established objective standards to measure experience and expertise in trial advocacy.
